Water Works Park will host a no-cost autumn celebration on Sept. 27. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and is packed with activities like a winding corn maze and artistic face painting stations.

Thanks to DICK'S HOUSE OF SPORT, admission costs nothing. The Fall Family Fest & Market brings local merchants, family support groups, and skilled craftspeople together under the open sky.

Visitors can find relief from the sun under the park's leafy trees or cool off at the splash pad. Early birds will snag free gift bags while supplies last. A dedicated space lets skilled makers show off their handmade items.

The event backs TBMG Cares, Inc. This group works to strengthen Tampa Bay families through its neighborhood programs.

"This venue is along the beautiful River Walk and next door Ulele and Armature Works offering lots of fun things to do," said Steffany Rodriguez-Neely, according to Tampa.gov.

Bring your four-legged friends: the park welcomes dogs in its special pet zone. Mobile food sellers will keep guests well-fed throughout the day.

No pre-registration is needed. The festival goes forward whatever the weather brings. The spot sits right on Tampa's waterfront path, with tasty spots like Ulele and the bustling Armature Works just steps away.
