A fresh monthly night market launches at St. Petersburg Distillery on Oct. 9. The Makers & Shakers event will fill the space with 40-plus independent vendors showing off their creations under the stars.

Set for every second Thursday, 6-10 p.m., the market takes over the distillery's garden at 800 31st St. South. Guests can wander through stands while mixing craft drinks with tasty bites.

"Our Makers & Shakers Market is all about showcasing the incredible creativity right here in Tampa Bay," the market organizers said, according to I Love The Burg. "You'll find a fantastic selection of unique stuff, from cool art in all sorts of media to beautiful handcrafted goods."

This open market aims to lift up small shops still bouncing back from financial strain and storm damage. Stands will stock an array of items: paintings, crafts, wearables, gems, pet supplies, and fresh local treats.

While browsing, visitors can peek behind the scenes at the distillery's spirit-making process. Musicians will keep the energy up as shoppers hunt for treasures.

The team running this night spot also puts on the Kenwood Sunday Market at St. Petersburg High School, starting again in October 2025. Though drinks flow at both events, handmade goods steal the show at Kenwood.

Entry costs nothing, and cars park free on-site. Check the Tampa Bay Markets site for vendor lists and upcoming special nights.
