Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is gearing up for a wild new chapter next spring with the opening of Lion & Hyena Ridge, the park’s most ambitious animal habitat in more than a decade. Opening in Spring 2026, this 35,000-square-foot savanna will bring guests closer than ever to some of Africa’s most powerful predators in one of the world’s most immersive settings.

Visitors can meet a pride of five young lions, Pascal, Lou, Henri, Hugo, and Herman; and a pair of playful hyenas, Cazi and Dazi. The expansive new space will feature stunning glass 270-degree perspectives of the new habitat, shaded walking paths, and natural terrain filled with rocky outcrops and cascading water features, offering both breathtaking views and an authentic experience for guests and animals alike.

The excitement doesn’t stop there. Busch Gardens is also introducing new annual pass perks for 2026, including Free Quick Queue access (select tiers) and $10 in quarterly park credits. With these upgrades, we can enjoy shorter lines, more rewards, and even more reasons to visit throughout the year.

With new experiences like Sesame Street® Kids’ Weekends, new festivals, and a groundbreaking animal habitat on the way, 2026 is shaping up to be an unforgettable year at Busch Gardens.
