Flapjack Social Club is set to open at The Palms of Carrollwood Shopping Center in early 2026. Positioned at 13133 N Dale Mabry Hwy, it's a one-of-a-kind spot in the Tampa Bay area.
Spanning 30,000 square feet, it offers 13 courts for pickleball and padel fans. Ten will be indoors, with a championship court offering a 360-degree view. The club will include indoor and outdoor areas to relax, coworking spaces, and a recovery area with a cold plunge and sauna.
Flapjack Social Club will feature the Zero Zero Cafe, serving espresso and fresh juices. There will be a bar with wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks. On-court cameras will capture match footage for a fee.
Activities include membership plans, day passes, leagues, clinics, and tournaments. The Day One Club membership provides benefits for $199 per month, a $500 signup fee, and a price lock for life.
A unique AI concierge will manage court use and waiting lists. This digital helper will also tackle FAQs and welcome newcomers. A mobile app for booking courts and events is on its way to the iOS App Store.
Activities at the venue include daily open play for everyone, expert coaching, and a free beginner class called Pickleball 101. Visitors can participate through starter packs or drop-in sessions.
The founders, including Tampa locals Sean Flood, Rachel Rohrabacher, and Jonathan Vila, aim to fill a gap in the market. "Pickleball and padel are booming globally, but the experience hasn't caught up. People want more than court time. They want community and connection. Flapjack is built around those needs and will fill the void in the market. And to be able to build the first clubhouses in our hometown of Tampa is truly meaningful to the founding team," said Sean Flood to That's So Tampa.
Event options at the club include corporate buyouts, private gatherings, and wellness days. Early-access memberships are now available online, with billing starting at $159 per month once open.
