The St. Pete CommUNITY Festival happens on Saturday, March 7, from 1 to 9:30 p.m. at Azalea Park. The event is free to the public, and leashed dogs are welcome too.

According to I Love the Burg, the Council of Neighborhood Associations will host this yearly gathering at 1600 72nd St N. Live performances, hands-on activities, and interactive art installations will fill the park, providing eight and a half hours of fun.

A Vendor Village will showcase local makers and nonprofits. Food trucks will serve visitors. Expect lighting, sound, and a laser light show when darkness falls.

Organizers added Shakedown Street this year. It's a corridor where artists paint live. The Grove, an immersive installation area, will display light, color, and interactive exhibits that visitors can touch and experience.

Birds of Prey education demonstrations will teach kids about raptors. St. Petersburg Police K-9 units will appear during the day. The Kids Corner offers balloon art, face painting, and sensory-friendly activities for younger attendees.

Attendees can donate nonperishable food and hygiene products for Love Thy Neighbor Food Pantry. Friends of Strays will run a booth during afternoon hours, helping animals find homes.

This gathering takes place outside the downtown area, bringing neighborhood-focused celebration to residents across the city. Azalea Park sits north, accessible to communities throughout St. Petersburg.

The park transitions from afternoon activities to evening entertainment as the sun sets. The laser show caps off the night.
