Lilac, a MICHELIN-starred restaurant inside the Tampa EDITION, will host a one-night collaboration dinner on Tuesday, April 14, from 5 to 9 p.m. This event will bring together Chef Miguel Guerra of MITA in Washington, D.C., and Lilac's Chef John Fraser for a plant-forward dining culinary celebration.

According to a That's So Tampa report, the dinner centers on a vegetable-forward, seasonally driven menu that highlights Latin American influences, presenting vegetables as luxurious and dynamic as traditional protein-based dishes.

The collaboration brings together philosophically aligned, renowned chefs to showcase the vitality and elegance of plant-forward fine dining as a meaningful culinary statement rather than a novelty.

MITA, led by Guerra and co-chef Tatiana Mora, has earned a MICHELIN star for the second straight year and is a James Beard Award finalist for Best New Restaurant. Guerra and Mora have both been named semifinalists for Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic. Guerra was also named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2026.

Fraser is regarded as one of the most recognized leaders of vegetable-forward fine dining in the country.

The dinner is priced at $205 per person, with an optional wine pairing available for $95. Reservations are required and are available through OpenTable.

Lilac is at 500 Channelside Drive in Tampa. More information about the restaurant is available on its website.
